Anyone upgrade yet? What do you think and how are you liking it? Any plug-ins not cross over like you thought they would?

Re: Pro Tools 11!
I'm holding off, mainly because we just put a bunch of money into a server system at work, and the home studio is still back on PT9! So it'll be some time before I take the leap. Some exciting stuff in the new version though. I did see some chatter on the DUC about the TC/E plug not being brought over yet, but Avid has said that it's not "End of Life," as they put it. So it's a matter of time I guess.

Re: Pro Tools 11!
Interesting, I saw that too. I'm looking to upgrade my whole home setup and am debating on a MacBook Pro, iMac, or just running with my currently beefed up PC. I think I'm going to go PC first and see how far that gets me.

Re: Pro Tools 11!
The computer issue is what's holding me back at home. Can't afford to get a new one just yet, so the PT upgrade might have to wait.
Re: Pro Tools 11!
I've purchased the upgrade but have not yet delved in. I wasn't using Mountain Lion so the upgrade required me to start from scratch with a fresh drive. I've got all installed but have been working on projects still in 10.3.6. I wish more of my plugins were available in 11 (altiverb, speakerphone, waves, xform, etc). When waves ports I'll probably jump in full force, by that time I should have enough options available plug-in wise. I suspect Altiverb could be a while coming since it took so long just to get to version 7

Re: Pro Tools 11!
I got my upgrade here at work. The performance difference is a HUGE improvement on my 2011 MacPro. Simple sessions at 96k in PT 10 were hovering around 40% of my Native processing. The same sessions in PT11 have dropped down around 2%!
As for plug-ins, I am still waiting on Audioease, and Massey.
Soundminer has an Alpha version of 4.5 that updates the Rewire client for 64bit but I haven't set that up yet. I am still running v4 and just monitor off of the Mac's digital output to an aux track.
iZotope RX 2 is also not compatible with PT11.
