I didn't see the request for info from Glowingpear sorry, the lava beach and cave interior recordings were both made with a MKH416T and MKH30 in a m/s rycote going to a SD702T. Even though the 416T is decades old, not the quietest mic in the world it's still a pleasing sound. The hellnari recording was made with 2x DPA4060s into a H4N.

I've now listened to many of the recordings from others and I couldn't be happier, it's all great stuff! Thanks to everyone for contributing and Mike for organising.

I would definitely contribute again.

I am using v4.5pro, I've re-downloaded the file to double check but it is still happening.

Thanks
Al.
That must have been what crashed SMHD+ when I tried to scan everything. Thanks for the heads up!
If you guys can confirm this let me know. I can re-upload the file. I had everything in Soundminer at one point with no crashes so hopefully it's a different file that just got corrupted while downloading.
Same here (Soundminer Pro 4.3v34 under OSX 10.7.5).

BTW: Thank you very much for making this library happen, Mike!

Hey Michael - About:

AMB_Urban_Madrid_Day_Pond.wav
AMB_Urban_Madrid_Day_Skaters.wav
AMB_Urban_Madrid_Night_Plaza.wav

Thanks for pointing the phasing issue out :) I have also renamed them to stick with everyone's naming convention. I'm sending fixed versions to Mike in case he can update them on the Google Drive folder.

There's so many great recordings, it's amazing! AMB_Rural_Day_Poland_Forest_Birds sounds so lively!

+1 on having additional information about the recordings on the next one :)

Fer

Hey This is a great idea that I'd love to contribute to in the future. Unfortunately I'm a bit late to the party this time around, but I'd love to take a listen to the worldwide ambiences library. Any way to get a download invite for a non contributor?
