Hey Mike! Are we allowed to submit as a group (much like a company would). We're not a defined LLC, but we always function as a team.

All the files should be dry? Or can I upload processed files?

I'm not too sure as it doesn't specify in the brief. Maybe you could include both? A dry version and a processed :)

I would recommend submitting both. But if the process is intended to make it sound more like a gear, it's probably OK. I wouldn't bake in reverbs or anything though.

It would probably be more fair if individuals contributed. For example, if there are three of you, if you could provide three different recordings that would be great.

Mike, I uploaded my files, and within the folder I shared with you is a doc with contact info. Thanks!

I recorded my "gears" at 24bit / 192kHz -- is it OK to submit it at that sample rate, or should I bring it down to 96kHz?

I saw in the upload instructions to do everything at 24 / 96 so I just wanted to check. I recorded at 192 to allow better pitch shifting and (I'd think) better noise reduction, but I'll be glad to export everything at 96kHz before uploading.

Let me know.

Eric

Your head is in the right spot but can you please make them 24/96 for download size and consistency? Thanks!

Honestly, I overlooked the sample rate and this library would have been great for that, but next time!
