Woohoo! This sounds fantastic. A few of us in Austin are in. We've got some urban ambiences and maybe some other goodies from around good ole ATX. Thanks for putting this together, Mike! :D

I'm in, from Vancouver BC. Could do nature or city, rowdy street on a Friday night. I'll find something.
Cheers
Jeff

I'm in! I live in Washington, DC and could probably get some ambience from significant U.S. landmarks (Congress, Lincoln Memorial, White House lobby, etc.). Or, anything else that may be of interest. Sounds like a fantastic project! Let me know how to proceed.

I am interested in participating. I would likely be recording in the Yorkshire Dales here in the U.K as it will have the most unique ambience in my locality.

Great idea, I'd love to take part.

I'm based in Bavaria, Germany (small town), but have recently also recorded ambiences in Scotland and China. Not sure about the length but can check, however they were probably only 48 kHz. Let me know, if there is interest in posting these too though!

Any further info on needs, do you prefer nature, city, special occasions etc.?
Photos a must?
