Re: The "Winter" Library

Hi Mike, it's Spring here now :-\ Haha :-) Just wondering - have you started collecting the downloads yet? (or in other words: did you get my files/link and is everything OK so far?) Sorry if you had posted somewhere, I didn't find any update yet and thought I'd ask in case it got spam-trashed or so...

Re: The "Winter" Library

Yep pretty tame winter here too so far, but we have had snow now that is still lying and it is sub 0° now. I will try to get a few quiet ambience beds in the early morning on a field and in a forest if the weather allows for it. I always love the peace and quiet that the snow and cold bring. Cheers!...

Re: The "Crowds" Library

Haha - yes the yoga one sounds great indeed :-)
The martial arts group is a university class, so not all die hard fighters - it was an early Saturday morning.
Still, for that background ambience, I have used it in a few projects.

Looking forward to the list of contributions!!

Re: The "Crowds" Library

Hey Mike, thanks for letting us know that emails will be delayed!! I submitted a few tracks two weeks ago or so, a busy Berlin restaurant, church concert audience walla before the gig, nighttime bar guests from outside and a young (haha, my former) martial arts sparring group shouting away at the mi...

Re: The "Crowds" Library

I'm in too!
Yes regarding the 48k, uprezzing doesn't add anything, apart from disk space.

I must have missed an email, or is the upload window/link not open yet? Have you decided to keep it to a 20-day window from October on?

Looking forward to contributing!
Best,
Andrew

Re: Contributor Thread - "Our Ambient World" SFX Library

Hi folks, I only now find time to post (while waiting for video conversion ;-D) Great stuff!! I will check to see what files I have for submission, maybe also a few things of interesting ethnic origin. As for file size - are we still on the 96kHz? This thing will be huge... and I don't know if 96k i...

Re: The "World Ambience SFX Library"

Great idea, I'd love to take part. I'm based in Bavaria, Germany (small town), but have recently also recorded ambiences in Scotland and China. Not sure about the length but can check, however they were probably only 48 kHz. Let me know, if there is interest in posting these too though! Any further ...
